MEET OUR STAFF
Affectionately known as “Pastor D”, Rev. Dr. Dionne T. Boyice began her ministry journey in 2007 as a student Chaplain at a local hospital. Dr. Dionne has also served as a Chaplain for college campuses, hospices and assisted living facilities, as well as a Senior Pastor within the United Church of Christ denomination.
For her Master of Divinity thesis in 2017, Dr. Dionne planted the ministry known as WHOSOEVER: Community Of FAITH*. FAITH is an acronym for ‘Finding Answers In The HEALING.’ God called her to plant this ministry for those who (and those who love them) have been hurt, shamed, shunned, or morally injured by the church and/or religious spaces. Hurt simply because of who they are, who they love, what they’ve done, and/or what they believe. WHOSOEVER became the first ministry of its kind within the Kansas City Metro (Kansas and Missouri) to be led by a person of color, who openly identifies as LGBTQ+.
WHOSOEVER has remained on the path to effective ministry by focusing our theology on spiritual growth, kin-dom building, and wholeness healing.
Graduating from Central Seminary in 2022, Pastor D achieved her Doctor of Ministry degree with her wife LeAundra by her side. This power couple's commitment to God and their community enabled them to build a congregation of 1300+ virtual members. In May of 2024, WHOSOEVER was blessed; securing a physical space dedicated to God, with doors that open to a home for worship, gathering, praise, and more!

After more than 7 years as a bi-vocational Pastor, Dr. Dionne decided to follow the Holy Spirit's direction, focusing her time, gifts, skills, heart, and spirit on the health and growth of WCOF by building upon the ministry of WHOSOEVER, leading Pastor D to resign from her position as the Director of Mission and Engagement at Village Presbyterian Church, which hosts over 4000 members.
Dr. Dionne gained experience building relationships with persons inside the church, and more broadly, encouraging relationships with local and global communities. The Reverend helped transform and inspire people from all walks of life, to engage in mission ministry- providing strategic visions and strong leadership while working to strengthen the Body of Christ.
In this world of exclusion, religious trauma, and spiritual abuse, she clings to one of her favorite scriptures, John 3:16; strongly holding the belief that God sent Jesus to the cross for ALL of God’s people…WHOSOEVER THEY ARE!

Mrs. LeAundra Stewart-Boyice, MDiv
Her role as Co-Founder and Assistant Pastor, are where Minister LeAundra Boyice's natural talents and gifts are greatly utilized through leadership within the WHOSOEVER ministry. Min. LeAundra is a professionally trained Life Coach, certified through the globally recognized and distinguished "International Coaching Federation" (ICF). She received her Justice & Ministry Education certification in 2018, overseen by Auburn Theological Seminary; Going on to obtain her Master’s Degree and The Social Justice Award in 2021, from Central Seminary in Shawnee, KS.

Perseverance and confidence led LeAundra to participate in the Martha Sterns Marshall Day of Preaching, where she would become the first African American woman within the LGBTQ community to preach at the First Baptist Church of Lawrence (Lawrence, KS).
LeAundra continued her success as a published author, writing"Does God Think I’m A Monster – Church Hurt Through the Eyes of a Child", and "Gumbo and God at the Rainbow’s Table."
Currently, Mrs. Stewart-Boyice provides spiritual care to the students at Central Seminary as the Student Success Advisor; Overseeing and ensuring the academic achievement of those enrolled, from admissions to graduation.

A member of the Beyond Beloved Community Committee, and an avid activist; LeAundra is a powerful advocate for inclusion, focusing on LGBTQ+ youth, and the “disregarded”. Her passion is fueled by the strong desire to assist those who are searching for their voice due to injustice, as it pertains to community and spirituality.

Pastor Rala J. Mahdi (aka PR)
Serving as the Associate Pastor at WHOSOEVER, Pastor Rala attended Manual High School in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated with honors, going on to attend Metropolitan Junior College.
After receiving her Associates Degree, Pastor Rala enlisted in the United States Air Force serving on active duty for two years and completing an additional 19 years in the Air Force Reserves, serving a total of 21 honorable years for these United States.
Pastor Rala dedicated 37-years to a career with the Social Security Administration.

For 7-years, Pastor Rala attended Bible Study Fellowship classes (BSF) in Kansas City, leading her to a wonderful opportunity studying under Pastor John Barbone, Rev. Gerald Powell, and Rev. Dr. Dionne T. Boyice.

Pastor Rala was ordained as a minister of the Gospel in 2009 and became the Associate Pastor at Living Word Community Church. Her many years of leadership experience and pastorship has summoned her into currently serving as the Associate Pastor of WHOSOEVER under the direction of Rev. Dr. Dionne T. Boyice.

Pastor Rala expresses how blessed, elated, and honored she is to be a part of building up God's Kingdom here on earth as it is in heaven, to teach that God loves everyone and all people.

TALICIA D. MCFEDERS, CMA
A founding member of WHOSOEVER: Community Of FAITH, Talicia stays true to the vision and the mission of this ministry. Strongly believing that Christ loves and affirms all people, Talicia is an ally to the LGBTQ+ family and community, participating in social justice events and seminars, representing WHOSOEVER.
Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas, she flourished and maintained her love and compassion for others, in everyday life and in her career, obtaining her Certification as a Medical Assistant.
Talicia has dedicated her life to the betterment of youth, with over 20-years of experience as an employee of Kansas City Kansas Public Schools, helping families build stronger relationships.
Her work as a Family And Community Engagement Specialist (FACES) within the community Rosedale Middle School, inspires her to strive for unity as an advocate and liaison to students and their parents.
Talicia's attributes and valuable experiences allow her to lead an incredibly caring ministry within the life of WHOSOEVER, attesting to her spirit of service to those in need.

Marlene O. Haynes
Born and raised in Kansas City, Kansas; Marlene graduated from Sumner High School, and went on to seek higher education; Achieving certificates and degrees that would lead to a career exclusive to office management and accounting.
Her time working as the Senior Office Manager for Sellers & Company Certified Public Accounting Firm in KCMO allowed her to build the experience, knowledge and incomparable skills needed to guide and maintain the financial health and growth of the WHOSOEVER ministry, as Senior Treasurer.

Raised in the Baptist Chuch, Marlene is no stranger to ministry service and stewardship.
She faithfully remained involved in several Baptist ministries, holding the title of President of the Mission Department for 6 years; Leading the church in mission work, spreading the Gospel through hands-on service with less fortunate members of the community.
Marlene served as the Treasurer and Secretary of the Usher Board for 4 years, and was also a member of the Evangelist Ministry where she went door to door as a witness for those interested in hearing her express and deliver the loving Good News and promises of Jesus Christ.

Affectionately known as "Moma Haynes" throughout the community, she is the Mother of
three beautiful daughters, a grandmother to six outstanding grandchildren, and enjoys nurturing and loving her amazing bonus grandson.
Marlene recently was promoted to GREAT Grandmother, as she was blessed with a smart, loving, and very active baby boy.
Marlene considers welcoming embrace to be one of her strongest attributes in life and within this ministry.
As the mother of a daughter who openly identifies as LGBTQ, she has never thought twice about accepting and affirming her daughter just as god created her; despite tough societal challenges. Momma Haynes believes the love of a mother should never be conditional, which has led her to become a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ youth, teens, and adults; Embracing and sharing her love with ALL of God’s creations and inviting all to her table, WHOSOEVER they are!
